Hi my beauties!

If you guys know me, you know I am obsessed with the delicious little French pastries “Macarons”. When I saw that NYX Cosmetics was releasing lipsticks inspired by the colorful sweet little treats I was instantly excited! I knew I had to get my hands on a couple of these guilt-free “Macaron Lippies”. They retail for $6.00 each and I ordered them from their website – http://www.nyxcosmetics.com

I picked up four shades: Rose, Orange Blossom, Lavender & Coconut. NYX has a total of twelve colorful & unique Macaron Lippies released. The four I chose were my favorite of the bunch and colors I felt I would actually wear. Now if you look at the “Coconut” shade which is a stark white you may be questioning what I just said a bit – but yes in fact I plan on wearing that shade MIXED with other shades. The Coconut shade is perfect for mixing with other lipsticks to create a lighter/pastel look. I don’t have any white lipsticks in my collection so I jumped at the chance to pick up this new Macaron shade in Coconut (adore the name also).

Now I will stop rambling and show you guys the lip swatches!

As you can see the colors are all very pigmented! The least pigmented I think is Orange Blossom but lined with an orange lip liner will truly bring out the bright orange shade. My favorite of the bunch is Rose – a gorgeous pastel pink. It’s so creamy and opaque. I just love them! For the price it’s definitely worth trying them out. The colors are fun and different & come on – who doesn’t love Macarons? ❤
