I am on a roll with these new MAC Cosmetics Collections! These lipsicks are part of the new Sharon & Kelly Osbourne MAC collection which just released. It is a Mother/Daughter collection which I think is adorable. If you guys don’t know who these two women are, you may know Ozzy Osbourne (The Singer). He is the Husband/Father. 🙂
They were available for purchase online on June 2, 2014, in-stores June 12th, 2014 (North America); August 2014 (International, select locations) I ordered these lipsticks online on June 2nd… I NEEDED these shades! These lipsticks are part of the Kelly part of the collection. Each lipstick retails for ($17.50 U.S. / $21.00 CDN) and are Limited Edition.
Left to Right: Dodgy Girl, Kelly Yum-Yum & Riot House
There are four lipsticks from Kelly’s collection – the one I did not order was a Matte nude shade called “Strip Poker”. It is a beautiful shade but I felt I had so many nudes in my makeup collection that I could pass on that one. The three colors I ordered I feel are quite unique and just overall stunning shades.
The packaging for Kelly’s lipsticks are very pretty. As you can see it is a shimmery purple with her signature over the M.A.C logo.
The lipstick tubes have the same look as the box packaging. I love the shimmery purple shade with her flowy red signature on the tubes. So pretty!!
Here are swatches on my hand of the three shades I bought
Dodgy Girl & Riot House are MATTE shades, while Kelly Yum-Yum is a SATIN finish.
Dodgy Girl is a purple/lavender shade with pink undertones.
Riot House is a creamy orange nude shade that is so unique in my opinion (I bought a backup!)
Kelly Yum-Yum is a bright almost neon pink shade which is a touch warmer than Candy Yum-Yum. (I have comparison swatches below)
Here are lip swatches of each lipstick:
Because Kelly Yum-Yum is a Satin finish it is creamier and less drying which is nice. Riot House & Dodgy Girl are matte and therefore can be more drying on the lips. Make sure you exfoliate and moisturize your lips before applying those two shades in particular because the colors can cling easier to dry skin on the lips. Overall I am SO in love with these lipsticks. I just think the colors are absolutely gorgeous and are extremely pigmented.
If you guys are familiar with MAC products, then you all know the popular “Candy Yum-Yum shade by MAC. It used to be a Limited Edition but it was released permanently now. Kelly Osbourne got her inspiration from that shade for her “Kelly Yum-Yum” shade. (Can you tell by the name?) 🙂 A lot of people are wondering what the difference is between them so I did a few comparison swatches.
Here are the swatches on my hand
The first differences are that the original Candy Yum-Yum is a Matte finish while the Kelly Yum-Yum is a Satin. From these swatches you can see that Candy Yum-Yum is a more cool/blue toned pink while Kelly Yum-Yum is a bit warmer and more on the “hot” pink side than Candy Yum-Yum. They are quite similar but different enough to own both 🙂 hehe.

Hope you guys liked this post and can’t wait to see what goodies you all get from this beautiful collection! xoxo
