Hi beauties!
So in the past I had only picked out a couple Essence lip liners & really liked them but since they only carry them at only 1 certain drugstore in Canada (Shoppers Drug Mart) I kind of forgot about this brand because I went there less frequently. The past few days I had been seeing some more posts about this brand Essence and of course my curiosity got the best of me and I went to track them down at my Drug Store. The first thing I saw were the Limited Edition “Cookies and Cream” line by them. I was automatically drawn to the cute packaging and soft & pretty colors. I picked up a Blush and an Eye Shadow from that collection. (I wish I would have got more because now I don’t see the collection anymore at my Drug Store!!) Then I picked out three eye shadows from their permanent collection which looked beautiful and metallic!
Let me add that these products are beyond cheap – and the quality is surprisingly amazing for the price you’re paying!! (Each item was under $3.00)
❤ Let me start with the Cookies & Cream collection ❤
This is one of the Baked Eyeshadow’s in “Macaron, C’est Bon!”
It is a gorgeous shimmery pink shade.
❤
This is the Baked Blush in “Cakepop, That’s Top!”
This is my FAVORITE item by far – I can’t tell you how gorgeous this looks on the cheeks – it is a perfect coral shade for the Summer & it is soo smooth and buttery I still cannot believe that an item this cheap can be so good. It has a *subtle* sheen to it which makes you truly look like you’re glowing from within. I really wish I had a backup of this blush.. I went back to my drugstore to see if there were any more and they were no where to be found! *sobs*
Here are the swatches of the baked eyeshadow and blush WITHOUT primer ❤
I am super impressed with these baked items from the Cookies & Cream line. So pigmented and so buttery and smooth. I am still amazed at the quality!! If you happen to find these items definitely pick them up – it’s so worth it.
Now we have the three eye shadows that I believe are permanent. So don’t fret! I was originally drawn at how metallic and sparkly they looked in the pan – which is why I had to have them!
Adorable names huh? Here are the swatches of each shade WITHOUT any primer.
As you can see, these are beautifully pigmented as well! The least pigmented would be Peach Beach, but it’s definitely workable and for I believe what was CAD $1.50 these are worth every penny. I am now on the prowl for more Essence produtcs and am definitely keeping my eye open for any new collections. I am beyond impressed with this line and the prices are truly amazing! I definitely know there will be a lot more Essence products in the future to review! Hope you liked this post beauties ❤ xoxo
