COLOURPOP COSMETICS: *NEW* LIPPIE STIX & PENCILS (SWATCHES & REVIEW)

The brand ColourPop Cosmetics was kind enough to send me six out of the 36 “Lippie Stix” in their range along with their six matching “Lippie Liners”. The brand ColoupPop Cosmetics is fairly new to the cosmetic world, but they’ve definitely been causing a stir with their renowned Shadow Pots – which are basically like a cream to powder eyeshadow that packs INTENSE pigment. They are quite amazing. They have recently launched these Lippie Stix and Pencils and let me tell you… they are nothing short of amazing. They retail for $5.00 each – for both the Lippe Stix & Pencils. It’s quite an amazing deal! They also offer Free Shipping on U.S orders $30.00 or more. You can purchase their items online here. Here is the info that was written on a flyer that came with the Lippie Stix and Pencils.

As written, they describe the three different finishes that their lipsticks have. They have “Glossy”, “Matte” and “Satin”. I have a lipstick with each different finish so it will be easier for you to see the differences.

The packaging for the Lippe Stix is really cute and simple. They’re not in your typical lipstick tube (which is why I am sure the name is “LIPPIE STIX”) The lipstick tube is retractable and the shape is slim which makes it easier to apply if you don’t want to add a liner.

The Lippie Pencils all have the matching name for the Stix and are supposed to go together perfectly. They are not retractable and you must sharpen them when they get dull.

I use quotations on the word “matching” because as you can see there are a few liners that don’t quite match as perfectly as the others but they still look nice together with the Lippe Stix.

Now for the swatches on my lips. The larger image is without the lip liner and the smaller one on the top right is with the “matching” liner.

As you can see the pigmentation is just amazing. The different finishes are all awesome and it truly depends on your personal preference for which type of finish you prefer. Also, the pencils for “Leather”, “Clique” and “Fancy” match the Lippie Stix perfectly while the other ones are quite different in tone but still look great paired together. I honestly cannot think of a negative thing to say about these new Lippie Stix and Pencils. The price point is beyond great and the quality is even better. I definitely will be adding more to my collection that’s for sure!
