COLOURPOP COSMETICS: HOLIDAY COLLECTION & MEGAN NAIK SHADOWS (SWATCHES AND REVIEW)

The company ColourPop Cosmetics was kind enough to send me a few items from their new Limited Edition Holiday sets out at the moment as well as a quad of the new Megan Naik shadows which she collabed to create! You can purchase ColourPop Cosmetics on their website

Now for the good stuff…

Can we just take a moment to appreciate this amazing packaging? So cute!

So for the Holiday’s ColourPop came out with some Limited Edition items. One being some new eye shadow quads and sets. I have one of them which is the “Never Naughty” quad. It’s stated to be a “winter wonderland in a box”. I can’t disagree with that. The shades are cooler in tone… more “icy” looking.

Each shadow comes with the imprints on them.. some of the ones in my pictures look flat because they had been swatched… (I clearly couldn’t wait to have fun with them!) If you’ve never tried a ColourPop shadow, they are quite interesting. They are almost like a “mousse” and they apply semi-wet like but dry to a powder. They’re, for the most part, very pigmented. Here are swatches of the “Never Naughty” set. (I don’t believe you can buy them seperate… but they are $20.00 for the set of 4)

Then I was sent the quad of the new collab with Megan Naik, she created four beautiful eye shadows.

These shades are more up my alley… my favorite is the antique gold shimmer “Lectra”. Oh my…… it’s just stunning!! “Farah” and “Onai” are more matte while the other two have some shimmer. They’re just beautiful and retail for $20.00 for the set of 4. Again I believe they can only be purchased in the quad.

Now for my favorite part… the beautiful *Limited Edition* Holiday lipstick set in “Forget The Fruit Cake”.

Again, I loved the adorable packaging. This set is limited edition with all new limited edition shades just for the Holiday’s. It comes with 2 Lippie Stix in their new Hyper Glossy Finish and 4 Lippie Stix in a Matte Finish. This set retails for $30.00.

I’m truly such a fan of the ColourPop Lippe Stix… I honestly don’t have one bad thing to say about them. I love all of the finishes they have, from matte to glossy to satin and now hyper glossy. They’re so pigmented and I honestly cannot believe they only retail for $5 each. This holiday set is adorable. The nude shade “Cookie” is just the perfect nude. Definitely my favorite but I’m going through a nudes phase so that could be why hehe. The Matte shades are not too matte to the point where they dry out your lips, at least not these ones. They have other matte lippies from their collection which are more matte. Overall I’m totally loving these new prodcuts and I’d definitely recommend them. They’re the perfect stocking stuffers and I’m sure any beauty lover would love these products.
