Hi my loves!
Anastasia Beverly Hills just came out with this beautiful new Eye Shadow Palette called the “Shadow Couture World Traveler” palette. They were kind enough to send me this palette to review for you all and I could not be more excited! This is a limited edition palette, so it will not be around for long. It retails for USD$30.00 and you can purchase it on the Anastasia Beverly Hills website, as well as at Macy’s, Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom & Dillards.
The palette itself is truly breathtaking. I adore all of the shades – they’re just so rich and luxurious looking. I am a sucker for warm tones, so I was really excited when I saw the array of colors in this palette. They all truly go together and just create the perfect little palette.

The palette itself is in the usual ABH packaging which is made of cardboard I believe. It seems to be very sturdy though and I love how it’s very sleek and travel friendly which truly makes it the perfect “World Traveler” palette.
I love the black and gold almost “Gatsby-esque” design. It really matches the whole rich and luxurious theme of this palette. It also comes with a handy double edged shadow brush which is a plus, as well as a mirror in the palette.
The palette comes with 12 shadows which is great – the pans themselves are quite tiny but I feel eye shadows last long enough as it is so I would rather have more of a variety of shades than bigger pans – especially in a travel palette, you want as many options as possible.
The shades are very wearable with a few pops of color to add that extra oomph. I really like the shade selection they arranged in this palette, they’re just beautiful colours. There are three different finishes: matte, metallic & satin & they can be used wet or dry.
Here are the swatches on my arm of the first row from left to right (no primer used):
Soft Peach – Nude pastel peach with an ultra-matte finish.
Morocco – Deep burnt orange with an ultra-matte finish.
Heirloom – Pinky eggplant with a sparkle finish.
Bellini – Golden peach with a satin finish.
Pink Champagne – Shimmery pink with a titanium finish.
Chic – Taupe gray with a shimmer finish.
Bottom row with no primer (left to right)
Spoiled – Gold-flecked peach with a metallic finish.
Fudge – Rich, chocolate brown with an ultra-matte finish.
Azure – Vibrant blue with a metallic finish.
Intense Gaze – Bronzed pink with a satin finish.
Metallic – Brassy gold with a metallic finish.
Noir – Deep carbon black with an ultra-matte finish.
I was truly really impressed with the quality and pigmentation of these shadows. Sometimes when it comes to palettes the shadows can be not the best quality because of the quantity and affordable price, but for this palette, the shadows were truly so butter, smooth and extremely pigmented. For the price this palette is retailed at, it’s truly a steal! I can’t really complain about any of the shades, they are all beautiful shadows and the quality is great. I noticed that the matte shadows were extremely buttery and super pigmented – they just glided onto the skin with no effort, which is always rare for matte shadows as they are usually less pigmented.
Overall, I really adore this palette. The quality is on point and the shades are so versatile that you can use them every day or you can intensify them to use for a more dramatic look. To me that makes the perfect palette – having it be versatile. I will definitely be taking this baby with me on my travels! Let me know what you guys think ❤
