Anastasia Beverly Hills released their new Fall 2015 collection of Liquid Lipsticks and were kind enough to send me their new shades to try out and review for you all! I have already posted a review on the majority of the Liquid Lipsticks in their collection previously, so if you want to see some other shades and more info on the Liquid Lipsticks you can click here.
As for the new shades, I really like the color collection that they chose and feel it is quite appropriate for the Fall time. There are 8 shades in total, and they are USD$20.00 (the regular price they all are) You can purchase them on their website.
The majority of the shades are earthy, cooler tones, while they also included a couple bolder shades like “Paint” & “Midnight” for the more daring.
Here are the swatches of each shade on my arm (one coat used)
Blush: an almost water-color, peony pink
Sorbet: a pastel peach
Sugar Plum: an iridescent berry
Dusty Rose: a nude mauve
Veronica: a taupe-y mauve
Sepia: a medium taupe
Trust Issues: a dusty aubergine
Sarafine: a blood red
Paint: a metallic, royal blue
Midnight: an opaque black
The formula is the same as all of their other Liquid Lipsticks. They dry matte on the lips but are not very dry feeling which is nice. They don’t last as long as some other Liquid Lipsticks because of the fact that they are more creamy, but I don’t mind that because they do feel very comfortable on the lips.
All of the shades are completely matte with no shimmer except for “Sugar Plum” and “Paint” which have some iridescent/metallic shimmers in them which create some unique depth. All of the shades are quite opaque and go on smoothly but I found the shade “Paint” and “Midnight” to be a touch thinner in consistency and to be a bit more streaky, so just be aware of that. Overall, I think the shades are unique and beautiful and I really do look forward to wearing them, especially more so in the Fall!
