Hi beauties!
Anastasia Beverly Hills recently released 9 new “Fall Collection” lip glosses to their already large lip gloss collection. Anastasia’s glosses are all extremely pigmented – they are more like a creamy lipstick which is awesome for those who hate glosses with little or no pigmentation. One swipe of these glosses will give you a true to color swatch on your lips. They also smell delicious – like vanilla cupcakes. The scent will fade after a bit of use so don’t worry if you’re not fond of scented gloss – it will eventually fade. I have swatches of their entire gloss collection on my blog so if you want to see all of their other lip gloss shades along with lip swatches you can click here.
This Fall collection is filled with mostly earthy brown nudes and the occasional pop of color. The mauve/reddish & cool toned nudes are really in this season so they did a great job adding those shades to their collection. I’m a nude lipstick/gloss lover so when I saw all of the beautiful shades I was instantly smitten! Each gloss goes for USD$16.00 and they offer free U.S Shipping over $25.00 if you’re ordering online. You can also buy their products in Sephora, Macy’s and Nordstrom.
I really love their gloss applicator as it’s doe-foot but it’s larger and more bendable than your average doe-foot applicator so it makes applying the gloss really easy evenly.
Now for the swatches:
From left to right:
Kristen, Fudge, Sepia, Tara, Butterscotch, Potion, Dusty Lilac, Warm Bronze, Bronze
Kristen: a cool desert sand
Fudge: a rich, chocolate brown
Sepia: a warm, reddish brown
Tara: an earthy, terracotta brown
Butterscotch: a neutral, peachy biege
Potion: a deep aubergine
Dusty Lilac: a vivid, pinky purple
Warm Bronze: an intense, dusty rose
Bronze: a shimmery orange gold
As you can see, you have your fair share of options of nude browns and terracotta shades. You really have tons of gorgeous nude options and I feel it’s very fitting for their Fall Collection.
My 3 favorites are Kristen, Butterscotch and Sepia. You also have a gorgeous dark, deep shade in “Potion” which is an awesome vampy gloss. Overall, I really love the shades they came out with and I’m sure you will too if you’re a nude, earthy toned lover like myself! Let me know what you think and which shades are your favorite. ❤
❤ Julia
Hey! Love the gloss formula and I really want to try theses shades out. Is the set available at Sephora? Where did you find this?
