Makeup Addiction Cosmetics: Meadow Eyeshadow Palette

Hi loves!

Makeup Addiction Cosmetics released another bomb palette called the “Meadow” Eyeshadow Palette. This is their third eyeshadow palette and it definitely lives up to the standard of their other two which I adore! (Here is my review of their first palette Flaming Love). This palette is like their other 2 palettes with 8 large shadows included. Each shadow is 3.5g which is pretty huge! (For reference, the MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Shadows are 2.2g each and they are known to be quite large shadows & these are even bigger than that!) You can purchase the palette on their website – they ship worldwide which is awesome! The palette retails for £29.00//USD$37.87.

The palette is thin and sleek and is made from cardboard. There is a mirror included on the inside which is great!

The shadows are magnetized and they can pop in and out of the palette easily so if you would prefer you could transfer them to a Z Palette or any palette of choice/rearrange them.

From left to right: Sandstone, Sweet Peach, Duke, Slate Green, Bronzed Leaf, Pink Blossom, Poison Ivy, Crushed Blueberry

Sandstone: Metallic peachy beige, think bubbly

Sweet Peach: Matte medium peach beige, think yummy peaches

Duke: Matte dark burnt orange, think terracotta

Slate Green: Metallic duo chrome green with blue/brown, think slate

Bronzed Leaf: Metallic bronze, think Egyptian goddess

Pink Blossom: Metallic peachy pink, think romance

Poison Ivy: Metallic moss green, think nature

Crushed Blueberry: Matte dark teal blue, think mysterious sky

With a mix of mattes, metallics and duo chromes, this palette has it all! As you can see from the swatches that the shades are unbelievably pigmented! The quality is the same in their other palettes, so I was happy to see that they continue to stay consistent! Their metallic shades are honestly my favourite ones out there. They are even better than the MAKE UP FOR EVER metallics which are some of the best in my opinion. They’re SO creamy, pigmented and blend-able! Their mattes are really smooth and pigmented as well. The shade “Sweet Peach” had a bit more fallout than the shade “Duke” but that has to be the one only slight downfall. Overall I really love this palette and am so impressed by the quality!
