Hi loves!
I’ve been eyeing this palette for the longest time now and have finally decided to place an order online for it! I really didn’t think I needed another warm palette (who am I kidding) so that’s why I waited so long to finally purchase it. Having it in my hands now makes me wonder why the heck I waited so long to get it! If you’ve been following my blog for a while now, you know I’ve always been such a fan of Makeup Revolution because of their AMAZING low prices and awesome quality products. They seriously do such amazing eye shadow palettes for a fraction of the price of many others out there, not to mention they are known for duping a lot of higher end palettes from other brands! This palette here is their “New-Trals vs Neutrals” Palette (I love the play on words they used). The theme of this palette is to show the recent trend of the “new” neutral shades (which are the burnt oranges, peaches and maroons) vs the old neutral shades which are the softer browns and more cooler toned shades. The “New-Trals” are found on the top row and the “Neutrals” are on the bottom. When you put them together in the palette they totally make such a beautiful variety of shades! If you know me, you know I am a sucker for the warm, burnt orange shades so having so many of them in this palette is awesome! You can purchase this palette online here. It retails for CAD$11.72 which is such an amazing price!! I seriously could not believe how affordable this palette was and what awesome quality you get.

The palette itself is made out of a sturdy plastic which is awesome for travel as you don’t have to worry about it really getting mangled up. There is also a double sided brush included which is an awesome add on for anyone. It also includes a full mirror on the inside which is awesome, again, for travel purposes!
The shades are found when you open the palette on a clear plastic sheet. That has to be my only complaint – I wish they could have printed the shades on the palette as I always end up throwing away that plastic sheet and forgetting the names! (Luckily I have this photo to look back on… ha)
The palette has 16 shades in total with a mix of mattes, satins and metallics.
Here are the swatches (no primer used)
Top row (from left to right)

Bias: a frosty champagne
Neutral: a soft matte “neutral” mauve/brown
Personal: a shimmery frosted peach
Vogue: a shimmery bright coral
Trend: a matte burnt orange
New-Tral: a satin deep coral
Tone: a matte rich cranberry
Custom: a matte chocolate brown
Bottom row (from left to right)

Cool: a matte cool toned vanilla
Style: a metallic frosty pink
Partial: a metallic pinky mauve
Mode: a metallic penny copper
Adapt: a matte cool toned mauve/grey
Buff: a metallic taupe/bronze
Suit: a satin taupe/purple
Strong: a satin deep purple with frosted glitter
As you can see from the swatches, they all swatch pretty great. I recommend using something like a MAC Fix+ when you’re using the metallic/glittery shades as it helps them pop even more on the lids! I was so impressed by how these shades blended on my eyes… they were so easy to blend and they applied beautifully! The pigment was there and it stuck to the lids wonderfully. I seriously can’t believe the quality you get for the price.. I wish I would have got my hands on this palette sooner as it’s honestly up there in my favorites list! If you have been thinking about getting your hands on it but weren’t quite sure… let me tell you, you will not regret it!! It would also make a perfect Christmas gift for that makeup lover close to you! Let me know your thoughts on this palette ❤
