Hi my loves!

Being the super-fanatic highlighter junkie that I am, I just had to get my hands on the new Anastasia Beverly Hills X Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit! I purchased mine at Sephora & it retails for USD$40.00//CAD$52.00. I wasn’t sure when I first saw the palette on social media if I really NEEDED it, because to tell you the truth I wasn’t too fond of the other glow kits that ABH released in the past and then add to that the fact that I have enough highlighters to open my own store! Buuuut… not until I kept hearing people rave about it & post their amazing swatches did I really think hmm I think I NEED this palette. I wanted to see it in person first to actually swatch it and see it for myself so I went to my local Sephora & well now here I am writing this post!

The OG YouTuber “Nicole Guerriero” designed this palette with ABH, and let me tell you, she did a fantastic job! I love Nicole, she’s one of the first beauty YouTuber’s I started watching ages ago and I’m so happy for her! This palette is definitely a gem. Unfortunately, it claims to be *limited edition* which is such a shame because I really wish it was permanent!

You get six shades in the palette (6 x 0.16 oz/ 4.5 g) each.

DSC01765I love that the palette is nice and sleek, very travel friendly. My only complaint is that they didn’t include a mirror!

I’ve heard some people complaining that the shades looked like they had too much glitter in them which I can see how they say that just by looking at the shades, but when they are swatched I honestly don’t see any big chunks of glitter – just beautiful buttery metallic goodness! You can see from my finger swatch below how finely milled and metallic they really are.

Swatches on my arm:

Kitty Kat, Forever Young, Daydream, Forever Lit, Glo Getter, 143

Kitty Kat (pink with a platinum shimmer)

Forever Young (pink pearl with silver shimmer)

Daydream (coral with white gold shimmer)

Forever Lit (platinum with lavender shimmer),

Glo Getter (champagne with rose shimmer)

143 (rose gold with bronze shimmer)

As you can see from these swatches, they are PIGMENTED. A little goes a long way – but that won’t stop me from bathing in them & applying way more than I should. (haha) The shades are quite versatile and I believe every skin tone will be able to use this palette. That’s the thing that’s great about this palette is the shade range! There really is a shade for everyone. I definitely recommend this palette to anyone & everyone! Even if you’re a highlighter hoarder like myself I’d still invest in this palette because honestly, for the money you are getting a bang for your buck. Let me know your thoughts on this palette and which shades are your favourites! ❤
