Hi beauties!

Morphe is back at it with two new beautiful 35 Colour Eyeshadow Palettes! The 35V “Stunning Vibes”  palette is an ULTA Exclusive so it will only be sold at ULTA & not at the Morphe stores or on the Morphe website. You will be able to find it at the ULTA store & on the ULTA website. The 35M “Boss Mood” Palette is sold at Morphe stores and on the Morphe website.

The Palettes both retail for CAD$30.00//USD$24.00

This palette is filled with beautiful rich & bright Fall toned shadows. There are a mix of multi-dimensional metallics and mattes. There is no mirror included in the palettes and unfortunately the names are not printed on the actual palette itself but are available on a clear plastic sheet on top of the shadows.

As soon as I saw all of these shades together in this palette, I felt super inspired and could not wait to play with them! The rich greens and burnt oranges got me feeling some type of way! Unfortunately as I swatched some of the shades and even tried to use them on my eyes, I found a lot of them to be a hit or miss. A lot of the matte shades were not as pigmented as I had wanted them to be and I felt they applied quite patchy to be honest (especially the greens). I even had the same problem with some of the metallic shades as well. I’m not sure if there was just something wrong with my personal palette/batch or if they’re all like that so I’d love to know anyone else’s experience if they have the same palette. As I did love the colour combos in the palette I was very disappointed with how they swatched and applied to be honest!

Now on first glance this palette didn’t excite me as much as the 35M palette as I’m not a big fan of blue eyeshadows, so overall I just felt this palette didn’t appeal to me as much. I was though super impressed with how they swatched and just feel that the quality in this palette far surpasses the quality in the 35M palette. This palette has a mix of mattes, duo-chromes and shimmers.

Swatches of each shade:

Knockout (metallic silvery white)
Swipe Right (metallic champagne)
Three Little Words (gold-pink duo chrome)

Tryst (matte deep fuchsia)
Rendezvous (shimmering royal blue)
Stud (midnight blue duo chrome)
French Kiss (metallic rosy bronze)
Swoon (metallic fiery copper)
In the Zone (matte mocha)
Wild Thing (matte raspberry)
Addicted (matte eggplant)

Little Black Book (matte black)

So it’s safe to say that my favourite palette out of the two is definitely the 35V as the quality is amazing and great to work with! The shades are super beautiful and it’s easy to make a ton of versatile looks with the palette! Let me know your thoughts on these two new palettes, I would love to know your opinions!

XO Julia

  1. I was also very excited to get this palette and unfortunately very disappointed once I tried it. It is unlike any morphe formula I have used, it is patchy, hard to apply, creases and doesn’t last. I don’t understand how it got rave reviews from some users except that I saw an updated poor review stating that once she switched to morphe eyelid primer she fell in love with the palette. I’m hoping a primer switch solves the problems because the colors are amazing.
